Ground tackle

We're off for our first proper cruise in early June and I want to make sure our ground tackle is up to the job. I know this is literally a "how long is a piece of chain" question, but I wanted to ask the more experienced what they would consider sensible in terms of rode/ground tackle.
My anchor is a CQR, and marked with 24 1/2 on one side. I have about 60' of chain. I was going to add about another 60' of nylon warp, but I was wondering what diameter to go for, and also I was wondering if there would be sufficient room for it in the anchor locker.

Hi Iain,
Just a quickie, I am dashing away back to Corsair.
Minimum requirements:
Depth to chain length 3:1
Depth to rope length 5:1
To Anchor in 10mtrs (deck to sea bed!)requires your 20m of chain gives 7m depth, plus rope for the other 3m requires 15m of your 20m of nylon. Multiplait has the best stretching ability, complex splice to chain!
Do your sums and add some.
Then there is your kedge.......
