Ken Endean has submitted an excellent article in the technical manual on this subject, under Sprayhoods. Perhaps you have overlooked it?

We bought a Sprayhood from CJ marine 3 years ago. It fitted fine at the front but the sides that come back along the cockpit coaming were cut far too high. It had to go back to have 50mm added on to the bottom. Then it took over 6 months to get it back. Will not be using them again!
Other thing with sprayhoods, most makers use lift the dot fasteners. These are absolutely lethal on exposed corners such as the Sabre cabin has.
After a race with the hood down I went forward & impaled myself just below the kneecap on one of the spikes, big gash, blood everywhere & could barely walk for a week.
The lift the dot fasteners have all been removed & replaced with Perfix fasteners that are far superior & safer!
