I will have a new cockpit enclosure made this coming spring, have any sabre27 owners with one of these any comments on what to incorporate in the design or avoid. The cover will zip onto the existing new spray hood.

Hi,

Mine velcros on to the sprayhood and is fine. Still up hopefully in these winds! If using fibre glass (tent-poles) as support rings then I suggest making velcro tabs to hold these in position rather than sewn in loops. This way you don't end up poking each others eyes out when trying to feed the poles in.

Photo of mine up and running on the owners photo page.

Cheers Chris.
