Gas locker warning

I have just been reading the rattling sabres, and keeping my spirits up sifting through photos of sabres. I have noticed many owners creating gas lockers at the aft end of the cockpit. Although at first these seem to be self draining. When the vessel is in motion the stern wave blocks this ventilation. Any leakage will now fill the cockpit sole and fall into the next lowest opening. This is the cabin. Tho there may be other vents that I cannot see I thought it prudent to share this. Just in case.
