Grr...just typed a long description of this but the forum lost it. So in the spirit of pictures being worth thousands of words, here is my new carbon fibre removable bowsprit, made from an old piece of 18' skiff mast and various bits out the spares box...total cost of new bits £11.00.

Lost text - I always type the text first (if more than a few words) in MS Word, copy and paste onto the Forum, easy.

There is a berth waiting for you on the Folly pontoon Sat 15th June, you can show us Summer Girl for real, looks like we might learn a thing or two.

Kath and I are going to a good friend's housewarming party in the Hamble that evening, but we're going by boat so the plan is to drop into the Folly on the way past for the afternoon before heading on to the Hamble.
