What is the best method or tool to grip the bearing housing so it can be unscrewed please?

CUTLAS BEARING AND PROP REPLACEMENT. So, they are all off, bearing replaced and time to re-install. Do you seal the cutlass bearing housing to the hull and if so with what? Do you use a release agent on the threaded bits securing it to the hull and do you add a release agent (Copperslip/White grease/Molykote111?) to the prop shaft and keyway, before refitting the prop?
