Rig testing services

Having had the normal survery comment that the rigging was of uncertain age and would need replacement I found Maidsure Services on the internet.
They offer an electronic tig testing service which is acceptable to surveyors and insurers. Next day they came down to poole, went up the mast (in a force 6!) and did a full check. All for £140.00. (he also checked all the shackles etc for tightness whilst he was up there and commented that the mast appeared to be in good condition)
We had the result by email on a PDF within 24 hours and the insurers accepted this without question, good for another 10 years, saving us a few hundred pounds.
